Tthis blog is dedicated to stories of what I'm calling estate rape. By this I'm referring to instances in which one's expected inheritance is 'stolen' due to remarriage, sibling deceitful behavior, bad lawyering, dementia etc.
I've had several experiences of this but know of many more. its always disturbing to think about both because of financial conditions which could have been altered but as much for the sense of emotional betrayal, longstanding sexism, punishment for succeeding on your own etc
